Delete Your Verbalane Account

Last updated: June 4, 2026

This page explains how Verbalane users can request deletion of their account and associated app data.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your Verbalane account, email support@verbalane.com from the email address associated with your Verbalane account.

Use the subject line Account deletion request and include the email address or sign-in method used for your Verbalane account. If you cannot email from the account address, include enough information for us to verify account ownership before deletion.

After we verify the request, we will delete or anonymize the account data described below and confirm when the request has been completed.

Data Deleted

Account deletion removes or anonymizes your Verbalane account profile information, authentication-linked user identifier, saved vocabulary, story progress, answer history, review history, and other learning progress associated with your account.

Deletion also removes app-specific preferences and account records that are no longer needed to provide the service.

Data We May Keep

We may keep limited records when required for legal, tax, billing, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or service integrity reasons.

We may also keep aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies you, such as product analytics or generated content quality measurements.

Retention Period

Most account and learning data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days after we verify your deletion request.

Backup copies, security logs, billing records, and legally required records may be retained for longer where necessary, then deleted or anonymized according to our normal retention practices.

What Happens After Deletion

After your Verbalane account is deleted, you will lose access to saved progress, vocabulary review history, and other account features tied to that account.

If you create a new Verbalane account later, it will not include learning progress or saved vocabulary from the deleted account.
